Biophilic architecture enables nature-oriented living in urban environments

by integrating plants and natural materials into the building structure, thereby enhancing the well-being of residents and users. Plants create green oases on roof terraces, in atriums, in light wells, on balconies, on green walls and facades, or in jungle bathrooms. The use of plant curtains, indoor plants, and water elements creates a natural aesthetic. The color green, the rustling of leaves in the wind, and their play of light and shadow have a relaxing and calming effect on the body and mind. In addition, plants improve the microclimate and air quality of buildings and the environment.

Therefore, I plan your home from the very first sketch for the users and plants. This approach has the advantage that, for example, the statics of a building are designed to accommodate the weight of the substrate for planting trees on the roof, sufficient waterproofing is planned, and the parts of the building intended for planting receive adequate natural light. I incorporate the surrounding nature into the planning through targeted views and a strong connection between the interior and exterior. Of course, I also offer biophilic architecture for commercial, administrative, and hotel buildings.

Information about retrofitting existing buildings and gardens with greenery can be found in the Garden Design section.
